Prince Harry is the only obstacle standing in Meghan Markle’s way of a career comeback, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield said with Markle reportedly setting her sights on Hollywood once more, the Duchess of Sussex is finding it harder to accomplish her goals as a result of the royal rift.

Speaking to GB News, Schofield highlighted royal expert Richard Kay’s recent comments suggesting that Harry, 39, is “tainting” Meghan’s brand.

“This is a great point made by one of Princess Diana’s closest friends towards the end of her life,” Schofield said.

“His name is Richard Kay, and he told Palace Confidential that the only thing standing in Meghan’s way of her big Hollywood comeback is Prince Harry.”

The former actress, 42, recently signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor, and is reportedly hoping to immerse herself in acting roles in the coming years.

What’s more, it’s been said that she even believes that an Academy Award is in her future.

“[Kay] says it’s harder for Meghan to launch her new career objectives amidst all of the royal rift headlines,” Schofield continued.

He added that “t’s hard for Meghan to come out full force trying to promote” the pair’s latest projects, because “everybody wants to focus on the relationship with Harry’s family.”

Kay last week claimed that the Invictus Games founder, 39, is standing in the way of Markle’s Tinseltown comeback.

“I think we can be sure that one thing she is really doing is being a mom and spending time with her children but it is interesting,” he said on the “Palace Confidential” podcast.

Kay claimed that the “Suits” alum is trying to stay silent about her upcoming projects after Harry dropped his bombshell memoir, “Spare,” in January.

“Is it because she wanted to give a bit more space to Harry who had so much to get off his chest this year with his ghastly book and his interviews about his family?” Kay wondered.

“Maybe she wanted to put a bit of clear blue water between what he had to say and what she’s going to do next, didn’t want to taint her brand,” he went on.

“However, what is her brand and will that brand still be there? The longer she’s out of the public eye, the harder it will be to kickstart it.”

The “Suits” alum is also reportedly planning to relaunch her lifestyle blog, the Tig. She had shut down the site following her engagement to Harry in 2017.
