A cool front is passing through Florida this weekend bringing drier air behind it.
With a mix of sun & clouds, most of SWFL will stay dry on Saturday— but a stray shower is not out of the question. Highs will head into the lower 80s during the afternoon. The evening will be comfortable with cooler air and a clearing sky. Lows will fall into the lower-mid 60s.
Sunday’s forecast looks fantastic with lower humidity and plenty of sunshine. The weather will stay consistent and quiet through Tuesday before our next frontal system arrives. Right now, it looks like it will be a relatively dry front by the time it reaches us, but we will keep you updated as it comes closer to Thanksgiving.
Tracking the tropics
The development of Potential Tropical Cyclone 22 into a tropical storm is no longer expected, as it remains disorganized, after encountering dry air and wind shear. Regardless, as it tracks northeast, it will still bring heavy rainfall through the weekend to portions of Jamaica, southeastern Cuba, southeastern Bahamas and Hispaniola through the weekend along with the possibility of flash flooding and mudslides in higher terrain.
