Chicago police issued a community alert Thursday warning business owners of overnight burglaries that happened on 47th Street in the Kenwood neighborhood.
Burglars forced their way into the closed businesses through a window or door before making off with property. The incidents happened shortly after 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 and 1400 blocks of East 47th Street, police said.
