Atwater Village’s cozy wine shop and grocer, Wine + Eggs, has a new and familiar owner who took possession of the shoppy shop on July 1. Certified sommelier and former Minibar general manager Jeremy Allen bought it from designer Adi Goodrich in May.
Allen will keep staples like a robust wine selection, continuing pop-ups, popular take-home pies from La Morra Pizzeria, and few other extras in mind. “Coming from the bar background, we now have this liquor license and the ability to concentrate on full spirits,” says Allen. “In Atwater, that’s like a big opportunity for me to bring more niche stuff and a bit of spirit expertise to the neighborhood. We’re going to expand the range.” Hours are from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at 3129 1/2 Glendale Boulevard, Atwater Village, CA, 90039.
Does In-N-Out’s monkey-style burger exist?
Instagrammers and influencers are notorious for pushing new secret menu items at In-N-Out Burger. Owner Lynsi Snyder set the record straight with a thumbs down on the Hungry Hotline’s Instagram account, with hundreds of comments from In-N-Out employees lamenting fake secret menu requests.
