Sally Struthers is keeping active in Los Angeles!
On Friday, Nov. 8, the former All in the Family star, 77, was spotted during a rare public outing, cycling in the sunshine in Los Angeles
The actress, who played Gloria Stivic — daughter of Archie and Edith Bunker in the popular sitcom, which ran from 1971 to 1979 — sported a bright red Hamilton t-shirt that she teamed with a matching red jacket tied around her waist and gray capri leggings,
Struthers completed her look with coral sneakers, a black fanny pack, a blue-gray cycle helmet and brown-tinted shades,
In the years since her role in the show — which was described in a her bio on TV insider as one in which Struthers, as Gloria “reflected the real-life struggles and successes of younger women in a changing society,” — the actress has appeared in a variety of TV shows and movies, though generally stays out of the public eye.
One of her more well known roles was as Gilmore Girls‘s Babette Dell, the next door neighbor to mother and daughter duo Lorelai and Rory. Struthers appeared in the show for 52 episodes between 2000 and 2007. More recently. she starred in the 2023 horror movie, Evil Sublet.
However, she has spoken about how it was All in the Family that changed her life’s trajectory, telling Page Six in February this year that it “continues to open doors” for her.
“It became apparent rather quickly that my life had completely turned upside down,” she said, but added that “over the years the gratitude has grown because it continues to open doors.”

The actress most recently appeared at the 2024 Emmy Awards in February alongside Rob Reiner to honor the late All in the Family creator Norman Lear.
“Tonight as we remember the legends of our industry we lost this past year, we celebrate their lives and legacy and the joy they brought to us,” said Struthers, who along with her former All in the Family costar Rob Reiner, introduced the In Memoriam segment.
