Wednesday morning a man was found dead with a self-inflicted wound at a nearby park from the scene of a fatal shooting in west suburban Cicero, officials said.
Tuesday night, police responded to the shooting that happened shortly before 7:45 pm. in the 1800 block of South 48th Court and found two women fatally wounded.
About 8 a.m. Wednesday, a spokesman for the town of Cicero said a male was found in a nearby park in the 5600 block of 16th Street with an apparent self-inflicted wound.
The identification of the gunman has not been released and detectives continue to investigate.
