BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Authorities are investigating after a Bonita Springs home was destroyed in an early morning fire on Sunday.
The Bonita Springs Fire Department (BSFD) was dispatched to 11129 Safari Drive at around 6:40 a.m. on Dec. 31.
By the time firefighters arrived, the home was already fully involved in flames.
Luckily, BSFD confirmed the homeowner was outside, and no injuries occurred.
Despite the crew’s prompt arrival, the intensity of the blaze had already rendered the home a total loss by the time the emergency call was made to 911.
However, firefighters managed to put out the fire in a matter of minutes from being dispatched.
The State Fire Marshal has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
