Bonnie Raitt will follow her 28-date spring tour with an even more extensive fall tour. It will open with a pair of Arizona dates, followed by an eight-city California leg that kicks off with a pair of San Diego shows at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay on Sept. 10 and 11.
Raitt first performed at the intimate San Diego venue in the mid-1980s and has since played there more than anywhere else in the county. The newly announced fall dates are a continuation of her now two-year-old “Just Like That …” tour, which included a captivating 2022 San Diego concert with Mavis Staples at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.
Raitt’s tour this year follows her 2023 Song of the Year Grammy Award win for “Just Like That’s” title track. The opening act for her fall trek will be English soul and R&B singer James Hunter and his band.
A Burbank native, Raitt has won 13 Grammys over the course of a career that saw her self-titled debut album come out in 1971. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
Tickets for nearly all of Raitt’s fall tour dates, including her San Diego shows, go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. A fan club and Spotify pre-sale run until 10 p.m. tonight.
Reserved seating prices for Raitt’s pair of Humphreys concerts are $113 each, plus service charges. Humphreys also offers three other options: a dinner show package for $218, a room package for $762 and a junior suite package for $862.
