Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are mourning the loss of her grandmother.

The rising chef, 25, and his wife, 29, paid tribute to her grandma Gina, who they also called “Naunni,” in separate Instagram posts over the weekend following her May 17 death.

“Naunni thank you for being you. You were the sweetest and happiest person ever and you taught me to find joy in everything,” Beckham wrote on May 18 in his caption alongside a collection of photos and videos.

Beckham thanked her for “always making everyone smile” and said she made people’s lives “infinitely better.”

“I’m so lucky to have had the honour of being your grandson for the past 4 years,” Beckham added. “I promise to take care of Nicola and your family.”

The Cookin’ With Brooklyn star’s heartfelt tribute concluded with, “I will miss you so much x I love you so much xxxxxxx ❤️.”

A day after her husband posted his tribute, Peltz shared a touching Instagram post about her late grandmother on May 19.

“Dear my angel Naunni,” Peltz started her caption. “I feel like I will never have the right words because I just don’t believe you’re gone. I really pray so hard you’re at peace right now. I still don’t understand where you went.“

She added: “I’m sad you will never get to meet my kids, hug me, talk to me or watch any other movies I make. I’m so heartbroken and miss you so much. I’m so lucky you were my Naunni. You raised the most perfect daughter that I’m lucky enough to call my mom which is my biggest gift in life.”

“You kept our family together and now I feel like we’re all lost without you. Please send me a sign that you’re close to me. And yes ‘I love you more‘ 🐇🩷,” she concluded, signing off with, “Love always, Your dolly, Nicky.”

Her grandma’s death was first shared on May 17 by Nicola’s brother Bradley Peltz, 34, who wrote, “Today, we lost my angel on earth.”

The ice hockey player continued, “She was not only the happiest but one of my favorite souls I ever came across. She was the light that would brighten your day. Her heart was so big that you could feel it when she smiled, and in turn make you smile. May her soul rest in peace and in paradise in heaven. I love you Bunny.”

Nicola’s brother Will Peltz, 37, also shared a tribute.

“I’m writing this with a truly broken heart,” Will wrote. “Your love was one of a kind, your smile was infectious and lit up the entire world. Those lucky enough to be on the other side of that smile instantly fell in love with you, and you couldn’t blame them for that.”

Calling her an angel, Will added, “I love you deeply and forever Rest in Paradise my bunny my naunni.”

Nicola previously shared a touching post about her grandmother on April 26, writing, “Being with you is literally magic i love being by your side 🙏🏼.”

She continued to share that she cherishes the time they spend together.

“Thank you for teaching me how to love others so deeply and fiercely. there isn’t a moment next to you i take for granted 🤍 your laugh is the best sound in the world and i want to hear it for the rest of my life,” the Lola actress wrote.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Nicola opened up about the special moment she shared with Naunni on her wedding day to Brooklyn in 2022. Naunni was her maid of honor.

“I remember … I get really nervous talking in front of people or in front of crowds, so I was nervous about that,” Nicola said. “But right before I walked down the aisle with my dad, I heard everyone clapping and cheering. It was because [Naunni] had her flowers and she was dancing down the aisle, and that makes me so happy.”
