The California Wine Festival will return to the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad for two days of alfresco tasting events on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. Guests will be able to try pours from winemaking regions across California, paired with gourmet appetizers from many of North San Diego County’s top restaurants and live entertainment.
The festival kicks off with a Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting on June 28 at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort’s The Gardens. The evening includes a sparkling wine reception followed by a samples of hard-to-find reserve wines and limited-production wines from vineyards based in California’s world-class wine producing regions. Popular North County restaurants will serve appetizers to pair with the decadent wines. There will also be a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Golden Rule Charity, an organization dedicated to helping people in the hospitality industry during unexpected hardships.
On June 29, the wine tasting experience continues with a Beachside Wine Festival at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort’s Heron Lawn. Guests will have the opportunity to experience hundreds of premium California wines and regional craft brews, paired with bites.
Live entertainment at Friday’s Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting will feature former “American Idol” finalist, Adam Lasher. Saturday’s Beachside Wine Festival will feature Upstream, SoCal’s premier live reggae, calypso, soca and steel drum band.
