Charli Burnett has quit Vanderpump Rules after three seasons on the Bravo reality series.

The television personality was notably absent from the Season 11 trailer and in a new interview, is opening up about why she decided not to continue on the show following “Scandoval.”

Burnett made an appearance on The Viall Files podcast, where she explained that she didn’t “feel aligned” with the show ahead of the new season.

“I just couldn’t do it,” she said. “They got the contracts. We were talking for months. Everything was going good and then the day came to sign on the dotted line… I was ready to film that night… I just, something told me not to do it.”

Burnett went on to explain that she had a hard time during negotiations of her contract, adding, “I just didn’t know where I fell into place with Vanderpump. This year, I just didn’t feel like, where was the show going? Where is everyone else going? I just felt like I was in such a different place in my life than everyone else’s and I just didn’t feel connected in the same way.”

The reality star is newly engaged and says that her engagement could’ve been part of the show and says she has no regrets about walking away from the show. Not being on a schedule to film a television show allowed Burnett to spend more time with her other friends and family.

Burnett said she didn’t want to be a part of being around Tom Sandoval as it would make her feel “icky.”

“I would rather just like maybe go hang out with Katie [Maloney] and get some cocktails and like, chill and hang out. But I also don’t need to be on Vanderpump to do that,” she said.

Burnett says that she muted all of the Vanderpump Rules cast, except for Maloney and Ariana Madix, from social media to get away from the frenzy around the show. However, she recently noticed that Lala Kent unfollowed her.

The television personality joined the show in Season 8 as part of an effort to bring the series back to its roots about young people working in a bar. By Season 9, most of the new cast members were axed, but Burnett remained — earning her spot in the opening credits.

Burnett would continue to appear in Season 10 to a lesser extent and was friends with Rachel Leviss. However, she distanced herself from Leviss after finding out about the affair she was having with Sandoval remaining loyal to Madix.

Burnett also mentioned that she is open to coming back to Vanderpump Rules in the future.
