Cops warn Northwest Side businesses about recent burglaries

Chicago police sent out an alert Saturday warning Northwest Side commercial business about recent burglaries in October.

Police said the thieves broke into the businesses in the early morning hours and removed cash from the cash registers before fleeing the scene.

At least four commercial businesses were robbed October 18:

  • Around 5:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Peterson Avenue
  • Around 6:06 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Irving Park Road
  • Around 6:18 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Pulaski Road
  • Around 8:38 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Western Avenue

Police describe the robbers as between 18 to 25 years of age. Anyone with information on the robberies should contact police.
