COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were injured in an overnight shooting in Collier County.

Deputies responded to a shooting on 42nd St. S.W. in Golden Gate Estates at around 12:30 a.m.

The home is currently surrounded by yellow tape as Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies collect evidence.

A second home located at 44th Terrace SW is also being investigated in connection to the shootings.

Detectives were also seen on 22nd Avenue collecting evidence on the driveway.

The current condition of the people involved is unknown.
