FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — Another restaurant reopens in Fort Myers Beach 10 months after Hurricane Ian.
Docs Ford’s ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 11 a.m. Monday.
The opening of this restaurant is another step in the recovery. After Ian slammed Fort Myers Beach, multiple businesses have started to open back up and welcome visitors.
The restaurant remained closed to undergo major renovations. Such as a new roof, ceiling, floors, and a new lower deck.
“We’re Just super excited to provide a place for people to come and hang out and get our staff back to work and a little more sense of normalcy for us today is the day,” said Joe Harrity, Doc Ford’s rum bar and grille owner.
