The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce invites the public to an upcoming Meet & Greet with the Encinitas candidates for Mayor and City Council on Monday, May 23, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the candidates in an informal, relaxed environment. The event will have the feel of a coffee shop rather than a structured event, providing a casual atmosphere for open conversation.

Mayoral candidates Tony Kranz and Bruce Ehlers, District 1 candidates Allison Blackwell and Luke Shaffer, District 2 candidates Jim O’Hara and Destiny Preston will attend the event. The event will be held at MiraCosta College San Elijo Campus, Room 1131, 3333 Manchester Avenue, Encinitas.

“This event is a fantastic chance to hear directly from the candidates about their platforms, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of their vision for Encinitas,” said Sherry Yardley, CEO of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, in a news release. “Public participation is crucial in making an informed decision in the upcoming election.”

Light refreshments will be provided by MiraCosta College. To ensure there are enough food and beverages, the community is asked to RSVP at www.encinitaschamber.com.

Attendees are required to use respectful dialogue and to be respectful to all candidates and fellow attendees. Personal attacks, heckling or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, the news release stated.
