TEXAS — Major League Baseball is looking to expand and a team might be coming to a place near you.
The league is planning for an expansion to have 32 teams by 2029, according to commissioner Rob Manfred.
ESPN has named several cities that could be good for a possible expansion, including one in Texas.
The full list includes:
- Austin/San Antonio
- Charlotte, North Carolina
- Mexico City
- Montreal
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Orlando, Florida
- Portland, Oregon
- Raleigh, North Carolina
- San Jose, California
- Salt Lake City
