We’ll close out the workweek with another quiet day today across SWFL!
Thanks to less cloud coverage overnight we are off to a slightly chillier start this morning, as temperatures settled into the middle and upper 50s for most at sunrise. Cloud coverage will be working back in though as we head through the morning and into the afternoon, leaving us with slightly below average high temperatures in the middle 70s. Rain chances will stay low, but a few sprinkles will be possible as eastern winds work in off the Atlantic at 10-15mph through the day.
We’ll see more cloud coverage over the weekend, though rain chances will remain low. Highs will be in the mid 70s.
An approaching storm system will drag a warm front across SWFL on Christmas Day, leaving us with higher humidity and a couple of downpours. Highs will reach the upper 70s.
That same systems cold front will slowly work into the area as we head through the final week of 2023, keeping clouds and rain in the forecast through Thursday. Highs will hold in the 70s.
