After getting rain on Christmas Day (much needed!), we begin to dry out slightly as we head through the day as drier air moves into SWFL.
We will still end the year we’ll below average for rainfall, despite another round of rain Wednesday night through Thursday, with a cold front passing through.
The rain will be light to moderate at times, with no storms or severe weather expected. Highs will be in the low-mid 70s through Wednesday.
By the end of the week, get out the long sleeves and coats because lows will drop into the 40s once again.
