The cold front has pulled away from us leaving behind drier and colder air. We are still tracking some lingering cloud cover but it is expected to clear overnight. Lows will tumble into the lower 50s and upper 40s by sunrise.

Once it warms up, Tuesday will be pleasant with a partly cloudy sky. Highs will be in the mid-70s. A northeasterly breeze will pick up in the afternoon with occasional gusts up to 20 mph. It won’t be nearly as chilly Tuesday night with lows in the lower 60s.

It will continue to be windy over the next several days with gusts anywhere from 20-35 mph. Keep in mind any outdoor objects such as trash cans and potted plants, as well as decorations that aren’t tied down, may blow over. 

Rain chances will steadily increase through the back half of the week. A front will lift out of the Caribbean and stall over the area, bringing scattered downpours on Thursday and Friday. A new low will form along that front, allowing a steadier, heavier rain for Saturday. Highs throughout will hold in the 70s.
