We’re off to another chilly start this morning! Temperatures settled into the lower and middle 50s for most by sunrise — 5°-10° lower than where we were Monday morning. A steady north breeze left many with wind chill values in the upper 40s this morning as well. Despite the steady breeze and mainly cloudy skies, temperatures will rebound nicely as we head through the morning and into the afternoon, reaching highs in the middle 70s. No rain is expected today.
It won’t be nearly as chilly out there tonight and early tomorrow morning, as lows settle into the lower 60s. Wednesday will be breezy and cloudy day overall with highs in the upper 70s. A few showers will be possible late, but most spots will stay dry.
Rain chances will steadily increase through the back half of the week. A front will lift in out of the Caribbean and stall over the area, bringing scattered downpours Thursday and Friday. A new low will form along that front, bringing the chance for a steadier, heavier rain for Saturday. Highs throughout will hold in the 70s.
