What a beautiful last day for 2023! High pressure will continue to keep us dry and chilly through New Year’s morning.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-50s by midnight, along with lows near or below 50 by sunrise. With lots of sunshine for the holiday, highs will make their way near 70.
Monday night won’t be as cold. Clouds will increase overnight into Tuesday ahead of a cold front. These clouds will prevent our temperatures from as much as the previous few nights. Lows will still be pretty chilly, though, in the mid-50s.
Rain chances will be low with the front, but we can’t rule out an isolated shower on Tuesday morning. Most of the cloud cover will clear out by the afternoon, and highs will reach the upper 60s. Even though the cold front won’t be a strong one, it will reinforce the chilly air over SWFL, along with clear conditions through the middle of the week.
