With storms developing a little later on Thursday, a couple of showers will still hang around through the evening. Things will clear up late Thursday with a partly cloudy sky overnight. Lows are in the upper 70s.
We will see a mixture of sun & clouds on Friday, with downpours starting to pop up late morning and in the early afternoon. Even with the cooling rain, daily high temperatures are still trending in the mid-90s, a few degrees above average. Rain coverage will be near 60% on Friday.
Tracking the Tropics:
Good news to report— the tropics are quiet! The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is not tracking any areas for potential development during the next 7 days. ABC7 will keep you updated on any disturbances that do have a chance for developing in the Atlantic basin.
