We’re starting off the morning warm and muggy with temperatures in the upper 70s at sunrise and quickly climbing during the afternoon. Also this morning, an onshore wind will push a few isolated showers which will rain out as they do so.
Rain chances at the coast will stay on the lower side this afternoon with the sea breeze being pushed far inland. So inland communities have your umbrella ready!
Before the rain arrives, temperatures will have climbed into the low to mid-90s. A heat advisory is in effect for inland SWFL today once again until 7:00 p.m.
Rain chances lower even more tomorrow, and we’ll stay on the drier side through midweek as a plume of Saharan dust moves overhead. This will make the sky slightly hazy along with increased allergies for some folks.
