Overall, this morning we start out on the mostly sunny side with just a few clouds overhead. Winds will be out of the SW, which will bring a few showers and sprinkles onshore through the morning before moving inland. East of I75 has the best shot of showers and storms again this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the low 90s.
We are tracking two cold fronts to head into Florida this week. We normally start to see cold fronts approach Florida this time of year, but they don’t usually make it this far south. That will be the case with the first front moving into SWFL by tomorrow. Just as the cold front reaches humid air in Central Florida, it will start to stall out.
However, the drier air behind the front will help the next front,1-2 days later, make it a little further south. This will help give us our first taste of fall later in the week, with lows in the lower 70s and highs just below 90. The main thing you’ll notice is that drop in dew points!
