Happy Friday to you!
Overall, it’s looking like a great weekend for SWFL! However, it will be a bit muggy!
This morning, it will be a warm and muggy with temperatures in the upper 60s for many of us. A few clouds will dot the sky and back yards have the potential for fog once again.
With the increase of moisture in our atmosphere, there will also be a small chance of rain each day. However, not a washout by any means!
Just a few showers popping up.
A cold front will attempt to move into Central Florida over the weekend, but we won’t see much of an impact from it other than highs a few degrees cooler next week. We will be watching an area of low pressure, currently connected to the front, that will linger along Florida’s east coast next week. This will hopefully give us some rain to help relieve our dry lawns.
Tracking the Tropics
The National Hurricane Center is watching an area in the southwestern Caribbean Sea that has the potential for a low pressure system to form by the middle of next week. Just something to keep our eyes on but as of right now it is no threat to SWFL. The end of hurricane season is November 30th.
