It was a chilly start to our day with morning temperatures in the upper 50s across portions of Southwest Florida. Tonight won’t be as chilly, but still fairly cool.
The sky will clear out and temperatures will continue to fall throughout the evening— into the lower 70s. By Friday morning, lows will be in the mid-60s. It stays breezy through the remainder of the night and into Friday with occasional gusts around 20-25 mph.
Friday’s forecast features a mix of sun & clouds and a warmer afternoon. Highs will approach the mid-80s.
A warm front stretched from the Bahamas to Cuba, will try to come back up towards South Florida. This will bring us increased cloud cover on Saturday and the chance for an isolated shower on Saturday. Rain chances will be higher for the east coast with an isolated shower possible for Glades, Hendry, and eastern Collier County. The majority of us will stay dry though.
Tracking the Tropics:
A broad area of low pressure in the central and western Caribbean Sea has been producing showers and thunderstorms. Chances have been decreasing for tropical development. The disturbance will move over Central America bringing heavy rain through the weekend.
