Although we have been dealing with an increase of cloud cover on Friday, it has felt nice, with temperatures back near average.
The clouds will stick around through the rest of the night, which will help limit temperatures from dropping too much overnight. Lows will be in the mid-60s across SWFL. It will be an even warmer and noticeably more humid weekend, especially on Saturday, as highs reach for the middle 80s. We’ll see more sunshine on Saturday, and no rain is expected.
A cold front will move through the area late Sunday. The rain will look to hold off until the evening, leaving us with a warm, humid, and breezy morning and afternoon with highs in the middle and lower 80s. As we head past dinner time, a line of downpours and storms will first hit DeSoto County and Charlotte County and then follow south and east through Collier County and Hendry County. A few storms could be strong, with heavy rain and gusty winds.
Behind the front, we’ll cool down once again, with temperatures back in the 70s for early next week.
