Forecast: Scattered storms likely over the weekend

We will start out the weekend nice and sunny, but clouds will start to build by late morning. We have a little extra moisture in the atmosphere to work with today, so we’ll be needing our rain jackets before we head out.

By lunchtime, showers and storms will start to pop up near I-75. The rain will be scattered throughout the area through most of the evening before backing off. With that being said, some sunshine will also try to mix in throughout the day, and highs will make it into the lower-mid 90s.

By tomorrow, some of that moisture remains, but it won’t be as rainy through the afternoon. However, still a good idea to have an umbrella handy, especially if you live inland.
