Steady rainfall continues to fall Thursday morning with an associated low-pressure system moving through the Straits of Florida.
We will continue to track showers through the morning with most of the rain tapering off, northwest to southeast, by the early afternoon. The remainder of the day will be mostly cloudy with some clearing possible in the evening. Highs will stay in the 60s today with overnight lows in the mid-upper 50s.
A weakening cold front will push south into Florida overnight and bring us a partly cloudy sky on Friday along with trailing colder conditions. Friday will also be on the breezier side with wind coming from mainly the northwest. Highs will be in the mid 60’s on Friday.
Nights this weekend will be chilly, with low temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50º, so be sure to have the jackets for New Year’s Eve festivities outside. It will feel very much like winter heading into 2024.
