Today’s high of only 65° is going to lead to a pretty chilly night across Southwest Florida. We have some Arctic air moving all the way down into the Florida peninsula, which will mean you’ll need your long sleeves and jackets overnight and during the morning on Wednesday.
Overnight temperatures in the Urban corridor will drop to the upper 40s, with low to mid-40s inland. You don’t have to worry about any frost overnight. But it will certainly be chilly by our Southwest Florida standards.
Heading into Wednesday, the breeze will still be a noticeable 8 to 12-mile-per-hour wind. It’ll be coming out of the north-northeast. That will keep temperatures pretty cool, in the low 70s for afternoon high temperatures.
Wednesday night into Thursday will be cool once again, but not as chilly as tonight is going to be. Then on Thursday, the wind turns more easterly, which will allow us to warm to near 80° for a high on Thursday. The warming trend will continue into the upcoming weekend.
