Happy Saturday to you and Happy Veterans Day!
It’s going to be a warm and muggy weekend!
We start off the morning with temperatures ranging in the lower 70s with patchy fog across some neighborhoods. Later today, it will be mostly to partly sunny, with the chance for a stray shower to pop up. Highs will be near 90 in the afternoon. Sunday is basically a copy-and-paste forecast from today. Enjoy your time outside with the family!
The cold front will pass through Monday morning and give us a slightly cooler afternoon. The clouds will attempt to stick around for the next few days. A low pressure system will form in the Gulf and will move through upper Florida through midweek. We will be watching this system mid-week for rain and storm potential for us as it brings in extra moisture.
Tracking the Tropics
An area of low pressure is forecast to form in the southwestern Caribbean Sea by the middle of next week. Some tropical development is possible as it remains in the Caribbean through the latter part of next week. It’s something to watch closely but at this time it is no threat to SWFL.
