Even though we are tracking a cool front heading our way, it’s going to be a warm and muggy weekend for us in SWFL.
Under a partly cloudy sky, temperatures tonight will slowly fall into the lower 70s. With dewpoints matching up pretty close to the forecast lows in the morning, patchy areas of fog could form through 8-9 in the morning before lifting.
Veterans Day will be a hot and humid one! It will be mostly to partly sunny, with the chance for a stray shower to pop up. Highs will be near 90 in the afternoon. Sunday will be similar.
The cool front will pass through Monday morning and give us a slightly cooler afternoon. The clouds will attempt to stick around for the next few days as a frontal system tries to form in the Gulf. We will be watching this system mid-week for rain and storm potential.
Tracking the Tropics
An area of low pressure is forecast to form in the southwestern Caribbean Sea by the middle of next week. Some tropical development is possible as it remains in the Caribbean through the latter part of next week. While we are currently not worried about the disturbance, we will be watching it closely.
