We have another warm and sunny day on tap for this Tuesday!
We’re enjoying full sunshine across the region this morning, and temperatures are climbing quickly as a result. By the afternoon, highs will reach the middle and upper 80s — above average for this time of year. While a brief sprinkle or two will be possible, most spots will stay rain free.
A cold front will dive into the area Wednesday. It won’t be much of a rain-maker, though it will try to kick up a couple of afternoon downpours. Highs will still hold in the low 80s. The front will leave us with a cooler Thanksgiving, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s.
Another disturbance will look to near the area by Friday, bringing a chance for showers and storms from late in the day Friday into early Saturday. In the wake of that system temperatures will back off again, leaving us with sunny, comfortable weather for Sunday and Monday.
Tracking the tropics
The NHC is monitoring two areas for potential development this week — one in the Caribbean and one in the central Atlantic. The former has a low chance to develop, the latter has a medium chance to develop. Regardless of development, neither is a threat to us here in Florida or the United States.
Hurricane season will come to an end at the end of the month.
