May I suggest we all help support our police by donating to a worthwhile cause, the San Diego Police Foundation.

They need so much help with items from uniforms to specially trained dogs. Some of the items they wear they need to purchase out of their own pockets. Tax dollars do not cover all their essentials, unfortunately.

Now more than ever, any amount to this important nonprofit organization will not only help with their morale but also perhaps all of us.

Help keep our community safe.
