Two-time Oscar nominee Tom Wilkinson has died suddenly at age 75.

The Britsh star, famed for roles in “The Fully Monty,” “Shakespeare in Love,” “The Patriot” and “Batman Begins,” died at his home in the United Kingdom on Saturday, according to the BBC.

A cause of death has not yet been announced.

Wilkinson’s wife of 35 years, English television actress Diana Hardcastle, was also at home at the time.

The acclaimed actor enjoyed a career that spanned four decades and two continents, appearing in both beloved British classics and and huge Hollywood hits.

Wilkinson nabbed a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role as Sissy Spacek’s husband in the 2001 drama, “In The Bedroom.” He was also nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role opposite George Clooney in 2005’s “Michael Clayton.”

In addition to his wife, Wilkinson is survived by two daughters: Alice, 34, and Molly, 32.

Over the next two decades, he appeared in British TV shows and movies before scoring his big break in the 1993 Daniel Day-Lewis drama “In The Name of The Father.”

He subsequently went on to star opposite Kate Winslet in Ang Lee’s 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Sense and Sensibility.”
