DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. — A good Samaritan and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) are helping Toys for Tots bounce back after more than $2,500 worth of toys were stolen.
According to DCSO, one of their social media followers stepped up to help cover the stolen items.

DCSO also said they have a marked patrol vehicle parked in front of the sheriff’s office 208 E Cypress Street. You can bring unwrapped toys every day between 8 AM and 5 PM by placing them in the trunk of the unlocked vehicle.
For those who want to donate after hours, toys can be brought to the drop-off box in DCSO’s lobby.
If you want to make monetary donations, DCSO posted a QR code in their lobby as well.
