I Asked the Experts What Couples Really Want as Wedding Gifts, and Their Top Pick Is Shockingly Affordable

My social calendar over the next few months is completely dominated by weddings, and now that I’ve RSVPed to all the invitations, I’m in search of the best gifts to buy for each couple. Choosing a present from the innumerable options on each registry can feel like a daunting task, so I reached out to the experts at wedding planning hub The Knot for their top recommendations of the year.

This year, 67% of couples are including kitchen appliances on their registries, according to the 2024 The Knot Registry Study. Among them, “blenders take the top spot as the most registered kitchen appliance, with 42% of couples including one on their wish list,” said Cat Haight, Editor at The Knot. This blender from Nutribullet is among the gifts couples ask for most from The Knot Registry Store, and I’m stocking up now that it’s 26% off at Amazon.

This powerful, no-frills blender is a fan-favorite for good reason. It’s versatile enough to make both cake batter and smoothies, and it’s shockingly easy to operate. Plus, it has an intuitive control panel featuring three blending speeds and a pulse button, allowing you to regulate the texture of whatever you’re making.

While simple in design, this blender has several useful features that make it easier than ever to blend up your favorite recipes. The pitcher has measurement markers in both ounces and cups, so you can assemble ingredients directly in the blender without having to dirty an extra cup. It also has built-in vents, so you can use it to emulsify hot ingredients.

Plus, the base has suction cups at the bottom, so the blender won’t slide around the countertop and cause a mess. One customer reported that they’ve been using theirs for two years and has yet to experience any leaks while blending. Plus, the NutriBullet is made from durable, dishwasher-safe plastic, making cleanup easier than ever.

The pitcher has a spacious 64-ounce capacity and a strong 1200-watt motor, meaning you can use it for your largest batches of sauces and soups. One shopper wrote that the NutriBullet “has enough power to propel a two-person helicopter,” so you can bet it’ll pulverize fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients with ease.

Couples around the world are coveting the NutriBullet countertop blender thanks to its versatility and clever, intuitive design. With wedding season in full swing, don’t wait to grab one (or a few, if you plan to attend as many weddings this year as I do) while it’s 26% off at Amazon.
