Indigo Girls will open a tour with Melissa Etheridge at Ravinia

The Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge will play together this August at Ravinia Festival as the launch of a short joint tour.

According to a recent announcement, they’ll appear together in concert Aug. 11 at Ravinia at Highland Park, then head to St. Louis, Indianapolis and the East Coast, wrapping up a nine-date tour at the end of August. Indigo Girls then tours with Amos Lee on the West Coast in September.

Tickets for the Ravinia show go on sale to the public April 24, with select other dates on Jan. 19 at indigogirls.com

Ravinia Festival is not expected to announce its complete 2024 summer season for a few more weeks.
