It’s always good to throw yourself into something new when dealing with heartbreak.

That’s what Jenn Tran, who was dumped on national television in the finale of her season of The Bachelorette, did. She went straight from her emotional stint on “After the Final Rose” to Good Morning America where she met her Dancing With the Stars partner, Sasha Farber, the morning the cast was announced.

But on Tuesday night, Tran and Farber were eliminated from season 33 of the ABC dancing competition, cut after a vampiric Argentine tango that earned 9s and 10s from the judges but seemingly failed to drum up audience support. Now, Tran fears what might come next.

“I’m going to be real,” Tran confessed to Entertainment Weekly on the post-show press line following her elimination. “This is what I was afraid of. I was like, ‘I’m distracting myself.’ So, we’ll see. I am human and I’m processing.”

Still, Tran is choosing to be optimistic. “I’m coming out of it with my friends and family and amazing memories,” she added. “I’m always a glass-half-full kind of girl.”

Still, Tran’s disappointed to be out of the race for the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy. She and Farber upped their game on Halloween Nightmares night with their spooky routine, bringing a ferocity to their tango that had judge Carrie Ann Inaba proclaiming, “You can’t just want a 9, you have to earn a 9.” Inaba then went on to give the duo a score of 10, their first in the competition, which at least allowed Farber and Tran to end their journey on a high note.

“Listen, it is a competition show,” Tran said. “I wanted to win. So I’m sad, obviously, but also very happy. I’m so grateful that we got to make the memories that we made and to be able to get that first 10 was incredible. I am very proud of myself. I didn’t even know that I could do the things that I’ve done. It just feels great to end with a bang.”

Tran and Farber consistently impressed throughout their time on season 33, ending their run with no lower than a seven from the judges at any point.
