Ken Griffey Jr.’s baseball playing days might be over, but he’s found a way to stay close to the sports world since his retirement.

Griffey now shoots photographs of sporting events, including MLS matches and NFL games, but his assignment on Saturday was an especially meaningful one: shooting his son’s homecoming football game.

Tevin Griffey is a redshirt junior defensive back at Florida A&M. On Saturday, the Rattlers were taking on Prairie View A&M for their homecoming game. Standing on the sidelines was Tevin’s dad, taking photos with a very nice camera.

The Rattlers would go on to win 45–7.

Several fans shared their love for the adorable shot of Griffey.

With the win, Florida A&M moves to 7–1 on the season, including a 6–0 record in conference play, placing them firmly atop the SWAC standings.
