Kim Kardashian fans were excited — and just a little scared — to spot their favorite reality star in the official trailer for the upcoming “American Horror Story: Delicate” — the 12th installment in Ryan Murphy’s spooky series.

Kardashian, 42, plays Siobhan Walsh, close friend and stylist to the main character, actor Anna Alcott (Emma Roberts).

The new, sure to be scream-inducing season is based on a book that’s been called “a horror novel about pregnancy,” and a modern-day “Rosemary’s Baby.”

The Skims co-creator shows up in the first scene of the trailer, lying in bed next to Roberts while practically whispering a lullaby.

Kardashian is also seen giving words of encouragement to Roberts, telling her in one scene, “You are an A-list star now. Focus on the good.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new season of AHS is based on the novel “Delicate Condition,” by Danielle Valentine.

Roberts’ character becomes convinced that someone is trying to prevent her from becoming pregnant and eventually giving birth.

“It is essentially a horror novel about pregnancy,” the book’s author, Valentine, told EW in a July interview.

“It’s a novel exploring not just the actual physical gruesomeness of what pregnancy is, but also the medical gaslighting that even modern, very privileged women experience as they’re going through their pregnancies and the symptoms that I feel we as a culture still don’t talk about for strange reasons,” she explained.

The show also features model Cara Delevingne as a series regular named Ivory, per The Sun.

The novel that the new season is based off of has been described as a “modern” version of “Rosemary’s Baby.

Some have compared the novel to a “more modern” and feminist take on the 1967 horror novel, “Rosemary’s Baby.”

While speaking to Variety on the 2023 Met Gala red carpet in May, Kardashian admitted that she was “so excited” to begin filming the series.

“It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow,” she told the outlet at the time. “I’m so excited for the experience.”

And, when the interviewer asked her if she was taking acting lessons to prepare for the part, she said, “I am, of course. It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself.”

Kardashian has had other dramatic roles in the past — in 2009, for example, the star of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” appeared on Season 6 of “CSI: NY” as a femme fatale accused of murder.

Season 12 of American Horror Story premieres Sept. 20 on FX.
