Stephen Amell will be back on TVs soon.

A new image from NBC shows him as Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who’s come to represent the powerful movers and shakers of Los Angeles, in the upcoming Suits: L.A. He’s “surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.” Can’t you just feel the drama?

The network has picked up pilots for the new legal drama and Grosse Pointe Garden Society to become series.

Amell’s Suits: L.A. is a spinoff of popular legal drama Suits that focuses on new characters. Viewers will see Amell, who’s known for his eight-season run as leading man Oliver Queen on the WB’s Arrow, reflecting on why he left his former life and dealing with a crisis facing his new firm.

The cast of Suits: L.A., which was created by Suits creator Aaron Korsh, also includes Bryan Greenberg and guest stars John Amos and Victoria Justice.

The original USA series about a corporate law firm in New York City aired over nine seasons, from 2011 to 2019. It famously had a resurgence in June 2023, breaking records when it debuted on Netflix.

Meanwhile, Grosse Pointe Garden Society stars Melissa Fumero; Aja Naomi King; AnnaSophia Robb; Ben Rappaport; Matthew Davis; Alexander Hodge; Nancy Travis; and Felix Avitia. It’s team includes producer Jenna Bans, whose credits include Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.

The official description: “Four members of a suburban garden club, all from different walks of life, get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.”

NBC already had four shows, including Reba McEntire’s Happy’s Place, set to premiere next season, according to Deadline.
