Warren jumps to No. 1 as Grayslake Central, Vernon Hills and Libertyville enter the rankings.

With records through Wednesday and previous rankings in parentheses.

1. Warren 7-1 (4)

Jaxson Davis and Immanuel Brown combine for 40 points in the Blue Devils’ 76-41 North Suburban Conference win against Libertyville.

2. Stevenson 4-2 (1)

Aidan Bardic scores 22 points with seven assists and Atticus Richmond gets 18 points and 12 rebounds in the Patriots’ 72-64 overtime NSC win against Lake Zurich.

3. Lake Forest 5-2 (3)

Tommie Aberle, who had 17 assists in the Scouts’ previous two games, scores 18 points in their 60-55 NSC win against Waukegan.

4. Wauconda 3-1 (2)

Tyler Tylka records a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in the Bulldogs’ Northern Lake County Conference win against Round Lake.

5. Lake Zurich 4-3 (7)

Anton Strelnikov entered Wednesday averaging 20.0 points on 70% shooting.

6. Grayslake Central 4-2 (NR)

The Rams allowed just 45 points per game while winning four straight.

7. Vernon Hills 4-3 (NR)

Daniel Odhiambo records a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in the Cougars’ loss to Grayslake Central.

8. Grant 4-4 (10)

Drew Rodgers’ torn ACL forces the Warriors to change course in their transition to the Central Suburban South.

Junior guard Jayden Hunt averaged 23 points in Grayslake North’s first four games, with 25-point efforts against Woodstock and Wauconda.
