Police in Langley say a serious vehicle incident involving a motorcycle is blocking the Fraser Highway in both directions between 268 Street and 270 Street Tuesday evening.

Sgt. Joe Leeson with Langley RCMP tells 1130 NewsRadio that the collision happened near the intersection of 268 Street and Fraser Hwy.

He says the collision was between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Leeson says the motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries.

Drivers are advised to take a detour on Old Yale Road around the site of the collision.

He says Langley RCMP members are investigating on scene.
