Mechanical issues involving a train are creating some headaches for drivers in the City of Langley.

The train has broken down, blocking two major intersections at Fraser Highway and Production Way, and 200th Street at Logan Avenue.

The Langley RCMP tells 1130 NewsRadio it has not been given an estimate for how long it’ll take to the fix the issues.

The situation is causing a big back up for traffic along the Langley Bypass around Willowbrook Mall.

For now, you can take 203rd Street over the Langley Bypass or 192nd Street between the Langley Bypass and Colebrook Road to get around the stoppage.
