Lougheed Hwy closed between Mission and Agassiz for police incident

A section of Lougheed Highway between Mission and Agassiz is closed due to an ongoing police incident.

DriveBC confirmed the highway between Harrison Bay Road and Scowlitz Road was closed around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

1130 NewsRadio has reached out to Chilliwack RCMP for more information.

Eastbound drivers can take Highway 11 through Abbotsford to connect to Highway 1. Westbound drivers can Highway 9 through Agassiz for the same detour.
