A San Diego man was arrested Friday in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Logan Heights, San Diego police said.
Police said Erick Rios, 31, was identified as the driver of a white 2015 Chevrolet Silverado that hit a 49-year-old woman in a marked crosswalk at 3 a.m. on Aug. 1. The woman, who died from her injuries, was crossing at the intersection of National Avenue and 28th Street.
Rios allegedly fled the scene, police said, but was identified after an extensive investigation. He turned himself in to traffic division detectives Friday at 12:15 p.m.
