Medical examiner reports men shot in Markham and Dolton

Two men were fatally shot in Markham and Dolton recently in the south suburbs, the Cook County medical examiner’s office reported.

Dennis Clark, 21, was found fatally shot March 1 in his home in the 16600 block of Winchester Avenue in Markham, the office said.

Clark was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m. at Advocate South Suburban Hospital and an autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Tyler Givens, 17, was shot in the abdomen March 2 in the 15000 block of University Avenue in Dolton, and was pronounced dead at 5:26 p.m. at UChicago Medical Center, the office said.

Markham and Dolton police officials did not respond repeated requests for more information on the deaths.
