Megyn Kelly thinks Jewish students at Cooper Union should have fought back against pro-Palestinian protesters who allegedly banged on the door of a campus library on Wednesday.

Kelly, the SiriusXM host, said she would have liked to have seen the Jewish students “fight back” and “get in the faces of these protesters and say, ‘You absolute p—y. Bring it.’”

“Where are the Jewish groups fighting back? Why are we not seeing Jewish groups in the streets in New York, all over the country to show a force?” Kelly said during Thursday’s broadcast of her show.

The former Fox News primetime star said that while “Jewish people are understandably feeling afraid right now,” she would have liked to have seen a response.

“I get the fear … but we have to remember here in particular, this is America. Like, we don’t cower,” she said, adding: “Eff these people.”

Kelly said that “somebody needs to get in their face and make them understand there’s no backing down.”

She said it was “jarring” to “hear stories about Jews having to lock themselves in the library.”

“I personally want to see [pushback] on the street,” Kelly said, adding: “I’m happy to be part of it.”

Amateur cellphone video that went viral on social media shows a group of Jewish students inside the library as a raucous crowd of protesters was outside chanting, “Free Palestine.”

“It was tense. People were nervous,” one student said. “They were specifically acting very aggressive in those spaces where outwardly Jewish students were sitting.”

A Cooper Union representative said the library was closed for around 20 minutes during the planned demonstration by pro-Palestinian students.

During that time, the Jewish students chose to stay in the library until the protest was over.

The New York Police Department said there were no injuries or property damage.

Police also later disputed initial claims that the students barricaded themselves inside the library.

Students who took part in the pro-Palestinian rally released a statement saying the demonstration was a “planned” protest that was “peaceful” and that some of those who were marching were themselves Jewish.

“We planned to peacefully protest outside the building before walking in and continuing our protest outside the president’s office,” according to the statement provided to CBS News.

The protest “reached the library,” at which point the students “were told that it was closed so we continued chanting outside the glass window of the library.”

“Many different students of all backgrounds were in the library at the time,” the statement read.

Cooper Union is one of scores of college campuses nationwide that have been roiled by the Hamas assault on Israel and the subsequent Israeli retaliation in Gaza.

Hamas terrorists staged a cross-border assault on the morning of Oct. 7 that left at least 1,400 Israelis dead and thousands wounded. Scores of others were taken hostage.

Israel responded with an aerial bombardment campaign in Gaza that has killed thousands, according to local health officials.
