Rebel Wilson didn’t appear to have a care in the world as she left a taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, just hours after the news her book was being pulled from both online and bookstores in Australia.
The actress’s memoir release has sparked a slew of controversy in recent days after she made some rather shocking allegations about her former The Brothers Grimsby co-star Sacha Baron Cohen in the tome.
The actress, 44, looked far from concerned about the drama, smiling for the cameras as she left the NBC studios in New York.
She wore a stylish plain black dress for her TV appearance and in one moment flashed her sparkling engagement ring for the cameras.
The blonde will appear in the episode alongside American actress Alison Brie.

The outing comes after it was revealed her memoir ‘Rebel Rising’ has been ‘delayed’ indefinitely Down Under.
Buyers attempting to get the book on Amazon were notified that the title was ‘currently unavailable’ and that ‘we don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock’.
Multiple have reported that sites such as Booktopia have canceled orders of the book, and local stores such as Big W and Dymocks have also refunded existing pre-orders.
The book’s publisher, Harper Collins Australia, told Yahoo Lifestyle that, ‘Publication of Rebel Rising has been delayed but we have no further comment.’

On Tuesday, Rebel posted on Instagram announcing the book was on sale in the US, however, many of her Australian fans took to the comments to complain about the delay in Australia.
‘I pre-ordered a copy from Big W in [Australia] and recently received a refund and notification that they were no longer stocking the book. Devastated!’ one comment read.
‘This happened to me too! I can’t see it available anywhere in Aus now,’ wrote another disappointed fan.
On Facebook, another Rebel fan reported that their local bookseller said the book was being recalled to be reprinted to ‘have some parts redacted’.

In a passage from Rebel Rising, she alleged that Sacha requested she ‘stick her finger up his a**’ because he thought it would make a funny scene in the film The Brother Grimsby and claimed ‘it felt like [he] had sexually harassed me’.
Rebel also claimed the alleged inappropriate experience with the Borat actor led to an eating disorder as she detailed the ‘disrespect’ she felt.
The Pitch Perfect star recalled how she felt ‘completed disrespected, which led to me treating myself with even more disrespect by eating in an extremely unhealthy way’.
Sacha has strenuously denied Rebel’s claims as ‘demonstrably false.’
Additionally, a series of never-before-seen clip from the movie, which were obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, seem to show that the ‘stick her finger up his butt’ comment was actually part of the script – and that the actress was on-board with the scene from the start.

While Rebel insists that Sacha made the crude request while his ‘male friends’ stood around laughing and filming the moment on an iPhone, the unseen clips from the scripted scene, which was read and approved by the actress before filming, appear to show a different side of the story.
In one pivotal intimate scene, Rebel’s character Dawn slaps the butt of Sacha’s character Nobby’s and then attempts to put her finger between his cheeks. He rejects her advances, saying, ‘Not my bumhole, Dawny. After that curry last night it’s like a loaded gun.’
Still on camera but out of her character, Rebel can then be heard discussing the blocking, telling Sacha, ‘I’ll do a slap [of your butt] and I’ll do a – going down the crack’, to which he replies, ‘It’s almost as if you’re going to ram your fingers inside.’
She answers, ‘Yeah.’
